Having spent 10+ years as a head guide of a Waterfowl Outfitter in Saskatchewan, we have a good sense of the business operations, the clientelle, then day to day of working from 4 am to midnight, and doing it all over again tomorrow.

From our earliest memories, there always seemed to be a fishing rod, a baseball bat, or a hockey stick in our hands. Later, when we were old enough, hunting was added. Shotguns, rifles, from gophers on the farm to ducks on the pond, to geese in the fields, to deer in the woodlands. Nowadays we have set aside the bats and sticks, leaving that to the younger generation, while we wave sticks (flyrods) at anything that swims in our lakes and rivers and put a bead on the waterfowl in the morning hunts on the nearby farmlands.

As we have done in other industries, we know we will not anticipate every need of every Hunting Outfitter and Fishing Lodge.
